Medicaid Application Assisters Training

Audience: Anyone interested in becoming an Application Assister

Description: Assister Certification enables the individual to assist the patient in completing the online Medicaid application and receive eligibility outcome results within 30 minutes of completing the online application process. One representative from your agency can be certified as a Medicaid Assister Trainer which enables them to provide training to other individuals as Medicaid Assisters (at your agency) as needed

Anyone interested in becoming an Application Assister will need to follow the list of requirements:

  • Attend training (webinar) held by the Application Assister Manager, Marie Dean.
  • Complete a Security Agreement form.
  • Pass a short test
  • Request for a Certificate from the Application Assister Manager
